Narayan Ram Acharya

Narayan Ram Acharya was a prolific and influential editor of Sanskrit texts during the 20th century, closely associated with the Nirnaya Sagar Press in Mumbai. He was responsible for editing and publishing hundreds of classical Sanskrit works, making them accessible to a wider readership. His editorial efforts spanned all genres of Sanskrit literature, including well-known editions of the अमरकोषः (Amarakosha), the collection सुभाषितरत्नभाण्डागारम् (Subhasita Ratna Bhandagaram), Kālidāsa's Abhijñānaśākuntalam, and the Yājñavalkya Smr̥ti.
