Narayan and K.M. Sherrif

Narayan (1940–2022) was a pioneering Malayalam writer from the Malayarayar tribal community of Kerala and is credited as one of India's earliest Adivasi novelists. K.M. Sherrif is a writer and translator. Cries in the Wilderness, published by Kerala Sahitya Akademi, brings together stories by both writers.
