Muz Murray

Muz Murray (born 1940) is a British author and spiritual seeker whose early career included surrealist painting, theatrical design, and BBC work, and who founded the Gandalf's Garden magazine and community in 1960s London. His Seeking the Master: A Guide to the Ashrams of India, first published in 1980, was the first guide of its kind and became a widely consulted resource for Western seekers, listing over three hundred ashrams, monasteries, and spiritual centres across India and Nepal.
