Muni Jinvijay (1889–1976), born Kishan Singh in Roopheli, Bhilwara district, was a renowned Jain Muni, scholar, editor, and textual critic of ancient Indian literature. At the urging of Mahatma Gandhi, he dedicated his life to researching, editing, and publishing ancient texts, ultimately editing over 200 volumes in series like the Singhi Jain Granthamala and Rajasthan Puratan Granthamala. His work significantly contributed to identifying and revitalizing Indian knowledge and literature as part of India's independence movement. Muni Jinvijay was affiliated with several premier cultural institutions, including Gujarat Puratattva Vidyamandir and the Rajasthan Oriental Research Institute, which published his edition of महाकवि सुबन्धु विरचिता : वासवदत्ता कथा (Vasavadatta Katha By Mahakavi Subandhu).
