Mohandas Moses and Achala Moulik are co-authors. Mohandas Moses was a civil servant and writer, known for his diverse hobbies including collecting rare books, and a proponent of physical fitness. Achala Moulik (born 1941) is an Indian writer and former bureaucrat, having served as Education Secretary to the Government of India and Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India. A graduate of London University, she is recognized for her works on cultural and political history and has received the Pushkin Medal and the Sergey Yesenin Prize for promoting Russian literature and culture. Together, they authored Dialogue of Civilizations (William Jones and the Orientalists), which examines the intellectual encounters of early orientalists.
