Meenkshi Balu

Meenakshi Balu is a Chennai-based author, publisher, and printer specializing in religious books, particularly those featuring Sanskrit-to-English transliterations and puja manuals. Since 1997, she has operated MB Publishers, known for titles on stotras, Vedas, mantras, and poojas, and has edited over 500 books. Balu also served as Director of Publications, Production, HR, and Legal at Giri Trading Agency from 2000 to 2010. In addition to her publishing work, she is an advocate, filmmaker, and social worker, with a focus on upskilling individuals with multiple disabilities through vocational training. Her book, Shree Lakshmee Sahasranaama Stotram (श्री लक्श्मी सहस्रनाम स्तोत्रं), presents the thousand names of Goddess Lakshmi.
