Mary Robinson

Mary Robinson was the first female President of Ireland (1990–1997) and served as United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (1997–2002). A passionate advocate for climate justice and human rights, she founded The Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice and is the Chair of The Elders, an independent group of global leaders. In her book, Climate Justice, Robinson highlights grassroots efforts, particularly among women, in the fight for a sustainable future, blending personal insight with stories of resilience and hope from around the world.
