Marghoob Banihali

Marghoob Banihali (1937–2021) was a distinguished Kashmiri writer and literary critic. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1979 for his poetry collection Partavistan. His monograph Abdul Rahim Aama, published by Sahitya Akademi as part of the Makers of Indian Literature series, examines the life and work of the Kashmiri poet Abdul Rahim Aama.
