Mankad

D.R. Mankad was the scholar who critically edited the Kishkindhakanda, the fourth book of the Valmiki Ramayana, for the landmark Critical Edition project published by the Oriental Institute in Vadodara. His work was instrumental in establishing an authoritative recension of this section of the epic for modern scholarship.
