Malladi Suryanarayana Shastry and M. Gopal Reddy

Malladi Suryanarayana Shastry (1894–1959) was a celebrated Telugu and Sanskrit scholar, literary critic, and historian, associated with the Sanskrit Academy, Osmania University. Renowned for his encyclopedic knowledge of Sanskrit literature, he authored seminal biographical works on Sanskrit poets. Among his notable contributions is संस्कृतकविजीवितम् (Samskrta Kavi Jivitam), a multi-part work detailing the lives of Sanskrit poets.
