Maithily Jagannathan

Maithily Jagannathan writes on India's socio-cultural landscape, including folk traditions, festivals, and everyday customs. During a long career in All India Radio and various central government ministries, she traveled extensively across India and contributed features, picture stories, and interviews to the media. She is also the author of South Indian Hindu Festivals and Traditions and has contributed to prize-winning children's literature anthologies published by Children's Book Trust, including the collection Schooldays.
