Madhusudan Penna is an award-winning Indian Sanskrit scholar, professor, and academic administrator, recognized with the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2019 for his Sanskrit epic 'Pradnya Chakshum'. He serves as Professor & Dean of the Faculty of Indian Philosophy and Culture, and Director of Research Programs and Publications at Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek. Penna has authored 45 books, including two epics and ten smaller kavyas, and translated classic texts like the Jnaneshwari into 9000 Sanskrit verses. He is proficient in six languages, including German, and specializes in Yogashastra, Nyaya, and Vedanta philosophies. Kalapini Agasti is an Associate Professor in Indian Religion, Philosophy, and Culture at Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, specializing in Sanskrit, Indian philosophy, and Yogashastra. She has authored several books and is a life member of the Bruhan Maharashtra Prachya Vidya Parishad and the All India Oriental Conference. Together, Madhusudan Penna and Kalapini Agasti co-authored भारतीयदर्शनम् (प्रकरणग्रन्थसंग्रहः) (Indian Darshanam Episodes), a collection of chapters on Indian philosophy.
