MADELINE MILER

Madeline Miller holds a degree in Classics from Brown University and spent more than a decade teaching Latin and Greek before publishing The Song of Achilles, a retelling of the Iliad told through the bond between Patroclus and Achilles. The novel won the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2012 and became an international bestseller. Her second novel, Circe, was shortlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction 2019. Her essays have appeared in the Guardian and the Wall Street Journal.
