M. ASADUDDIN

M. Asaduddin is a distinguished translator and scholar of Urdu and Hindi literature. He is known for bringing significant works to English-speaking audiences, including his translations of Ismat Chughtai's memoirs, collected in Ismat Chughtai: A Life in Words, and the comprehensive four-volume set of Premchand The Complete Short Stories. He also contributed a critical study on the celebrated writer in Ismat Chughtai (Makers of Indian Literature).
