Lynn ATE

Lynn Ate is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Asia Program at Washington State University, holding a Ph.D. in South Asian Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1978). She is the author of 'Tirumankai Alvar’s Five Shorter Works: Experiments in Literature (Annotated Translations with Glossary),' a comprehensive study of the eighth-century Tamil poet Tirumankai Alvar. Her work provides the original Tamil texts with transliteration and English translations, accompanied by extensive notes on grammar and textual analysis, highlighting the poet's literary innovations and contributions to Tamil prosody.
