Lori Tompkins investigates the geometric and zodiacal structures encoded in the Rig Veda and other Vedic and mythological texts, arguing that the radius and vesica piscis of the 360-degree circle function as interpretive keys to India's sacred symbolism. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia (1991) and an MA in Education from the University of Colorado (1994), has been a student of Integral and Supramental Yoga since 1993, and teaches Hatha Yoga in California. Her exploration draws on the yogic mission of Sri Aurobindo.
