Lalit Mangotra

Lalit Kumar Mangotra (born 14 April 1944) is a Dogri-language writer and former professor of physics. He has published short stories, plays, poetry, essays, and literary criticism, and received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2011 for his essay collection Cheten Diyan Galiyan. In 2025 the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri for his contributions to literature and education. Reflections is published by Sahitya Akademi.
