Krishnalal M. Jhaveri

Diwan Bahadur Krishnalal Mohanlal Jhaveri (1868–1957) was a Gujarati writer, literary historian, translator, and judge. He served as president of the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad from 1931 to 1933, was president of the Forbes Gujarati Sabha for three decades, a founding member of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and vice-chancellor of Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University. His Milestones in Gujarati Literature, first written in 1914, surveys the origins and development of Gujarati writing across five and a half centuries.
