Shripad Krishna Belvalkar (1881–1967), often known as S. K. Belvalkar, was a distinguished Indian Indologist and Sanskrit scholar, particularly renowned for his extensive work on critical editions of Sanskrit texts. He played a crucial role in the Critical Edition of the Mahabharata and published several significant works on Vedanta and other philosophical systems. Belvalkar edited श्रीमद्भगवद्गीतायाः (The Bhagavadgita Authorised Version), providing a critical edition of the Bhagavadgita along with an index of quarter lines, published by the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute.
