Kove Manisekharan

Kove Manisekharan (2 May 1927 – 18 November 2021) was an Indian Tamil novelist, film director, and playwright. His historical novel Kutrala Kurinji won the Sahitya Akademi Award for Tamil in 1992. Kurinji: The Story of a Music Maestro — published in English by Sahitya Akademi — is among his works exploring the social and historical dimensions of Tamil musical culture.
