Kesari Singh Barhath

Thakur Kesari Singh Barhath (1872–1941), known as Rajasthan Kesari, was a revolutionary leader, educator, and poet from Rajasthan. He founded Veer Bharat Sabha, co-founded the Rajputana-Madhya Bharat Sabha, and worked to establish a branch of the Abhinav Bharat Society in Rajasthan. He wrote extensively in Dingal (Old Rajasthani) on themes of nationalism and independence, and composed the celebrated Chetavani ra Chungatya. His work Amar Singh Rathore, published by Rajasthani Granthnagar, is a historical account of the legendary Rajput warrior of Marwar.
