Kausthub Desikachar

Kausthub Desikachar is an acclaimed yoga teacher, yoga therapist, healer, and spiritual advisor, as well as the successor and current lineage holder of the classical Viniyoga tradition of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar. He began his yoga studies at age nine under his father's guidance and started teaching at thirteen. Desikachar holds dual Master's degrees from the Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences, Pilani, and a doctorate in Psychology from the University of Madras, with research on individualized yoga training and quality of life. He aims to share authentic yoga teachings and build bridges between healing modalities, offering effective solutions for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. He is the author of "Footsteps in the Heart (Selected Poems by Kausthub Desikachar)."
