Kasinathan

Kasinathan is a Tamil historian who has extensively documented the regional histories of South India. His works include தென்பகுதிப் பாளையக்காரர்கள் வரலாறு (Thenpaguthip Palaiyakkararkal Varalaru: History of Southern Settlers) and வடபகுதிப் பாளையக்காரர்கள் வரலாறு (Vatapakutip Palaiyakkararkal Varalaru: History of Northern Settlers), which trace the history of the Palaiyakkarars (polygars) in different parts of Tamil Nadu. He also explores ancient Tamil culture and identity in தொன்மைத் தமிழும் தொன்மைத் தமிழரும் (Thonmaith Thamizhum Thonmaith Thamizharum: Ancient Tamil and Archaic Tamil).
