Karthik Balasubramanian

Karthik Balasubramanian is a contemporary Tamil fiction writer born in 1987 in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu. His short story collection ஒளிரும் பச்சைக் கண்கள் (Olirum Paccaik Kankal), published by Kalachuvadu Publications, is among works that examine the lives and pressures of those in the software sector, drawing on his own professional experience. He has received the Ka.Na.Su Short Story Award and the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar for 2021.
