K. T. Pandurangi and Krishnacharya Upadhyaya

K. T. Pandurangi (1918–2017) was a distinguished Sanskrit scholar, academic, and philosopher with deep expertise in Dvaita Vedanta, Nyaya, and Mimamsa. A recipient of the President's Certificate of Honour, he served as a professor at Bangalore University and authored, translated, and edited over a hundred scholarly works. Along with his collaborator Krishnacharya Upadhyaya, he edited the monumental eight-volume edition of न्यायामृतम् (Nyāyāmṛtam), the seminal work of Sri Vyasa Tirtha, presenting it with six classical commentaries.
