K. Ramasubramanian

K. Ramasubramanian is Professor-in-Charge at the Centre for Traditional Indian Knowledge and Skills, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. He holds a doctorate in theoretical physics, a master’s degree in Sanskrit, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He has been honoured with several prestigious titles and awards, including the title Vidvat-pravara by the Śaṅkarācārya of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham in Sringeri for successfully completing a 14-semester programme in Advaita Vedānta in 2003, and the Maharshi Badrayan Vyas Samman by the President of India for his contribution to the field of Sanskrit in 2008.

He has published multiple books, edited volumes, and around 100 articles on Indian mathematics, astronomy, logic, and philosophy (ORCID: 0009-0007-4309-3744). He was an invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians 2022. He serves as a member of various national and international committees.
