K. N. Sreeja

K. N. Sreeja (b. 1966), also known as Sreeja K. V., is an acclaimed Malayalam playwright and theatre activist. Born in Arangottukara, Thrissur district, she holds degrees in Sanskrit and Malayalam. Sreeja is the first woman to receive both the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi and Kerala Sahitya Akademi awards for playwriting. Her notable plays include `Ororo Kalathilum` (Each Time), which won awards for best writing and best new talent, and `Labour Room`, which received the C. N. Sreekantan Nair Saketham Award. K. N. Sreeja is the author of `ബാലപ്രബോധവും സമാസചകവും- Bala Prabodhavum Sama Sachakravum (Malayalam)`.
