K. Damodaran

K. Damodaran (1912–1976) was a leading Marxist theoretician, writer and one of the founders of the Communist Party in Kerala. He surveyed the sweep of Indian philosophical tradition in Malayalam through Bharatiya Chinta (Indian Thought), a work considered among his finest. A prolific intellectual, he wrote on philosophy, socialism and Indian culture across his career as a Rajya Sabha member and public thinker.
