Jerry Pinto is a poet and journalist whose debut poetry collection Asylum was published in 2004. Naresh Fernandes is a journalist and editor who has worked with the Times of India, the Associated Press in Mumbai, and the Wall Street Journal in New York. The anthology was selected among the Guardian's ten best books set in Mumbai.
