Ipsita Roy Chakraverti

Ipsita Roy Chakraverti grew up in Canada and declared herself a practitioner of Wicca in India. She is the founder and Chairperson of The Wiccan Brigade and The Young Bengal Brigade, and has written three books, including her autobiography Beloved Witch and Spirits I Have Known. In Sacred Evil (Encounters With The Unknown), published by HarperCollins, she chronicles nine real cases from her work as a scholar of the occult and practitioner of Dakini Vidya, involving mystic-saints, necromancers, zombies, Tantrics, and restless spirits. Several of her stories have been adapted for film and television.
