Hemadri (c. 13th century), also known as Hemadpant, was a renowned polymath and Prime Minister during the Seuna (Yadava) dynasty in medieval India. Serving under kings Mahādeva and Ramachandra, he was a distinguished diplomat, administrator, architect, poet, theologian, and scholar. Hemadri is credited with pioneering the distinctive Hemadpanti architectural style and authored the encyclopedic Dharmaśāstra work, `Chaturvarga Chintāmaṇi`, which details numerous Vratas (vows and observances). His scholarly contributions also include `Āyurveda Rasāyan`, a commentary on the Ashtanga Hridaya, and `Shraddhakalpa`. In `रघुवंशदर्पणः Raghuvamsa Darpana`, Hemadri provides a critical edition and commentary on Kalidasa's classic epic, `Raghuvamsa`.
