Harihara Shastri

Harihara Shastri is a Sanskrit scholar whose work on Narayana Guru's life and compositions reflects deep engagement with the saint-philosopher's tradition. The book Narayanaguroh Laghukrityah, published by D. K. Printworld, presents writings on Narayana Guru's life in Sanskrit. Shastri served as head teacher of the Brahmavidyalaya at Sivagiri — the centre founded by Narayana Guru — spending many years learning and teaching the works of the saint-philosopher.
