H. M. Bhandarkar

H. M. Bhandarkar is the editor of a critical edition of the Nirukta, the seminal treatise on Vedic etymology and semantics authored by the ancient sage Yaska. This edition, published by the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, also includes the Nighantu, the glossary of Vedic words upon which the Nirukta is a commentary.
