Grace E. Cairns

Grace E. Cairns was Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and Religion at The Florida State University, Tallahassee. She is the author of works including Philosophies of History and Religions of the World. Her Man as Microcosm in Tantric Hinduism, published by Manohar, investigates the development of macrocosm-microcosm identity in the philosophical dimensions of Tantric Hinduism, examining the thought, symbolism, and ritual that underlie its art and practice.
