G.T. Vigne

G.T. Vigne, whose full name was George Robert Vigne (1801–1863), was a British traveler, author, and artist known for his extensive journeys and detailed accounts of the Indian subcontinent and Afghanistan during the 19th century. His book, A Personal Narrative of A Visit to Ghuzni, Kabul and Afghanistan and of A Residence At the court of Dost Mohamed with Notices of Runjit Sing, Khiva and the Russian Expedition, documents his travels and observations, offering valuable insights into the geopolitics and cultures of the region during that era.
