George Sydney Arundale (1878–1945) was an educator and leader of the Theosophical movement. Educated at Cambridge, he moved to India and served as principal of the Central Hindu College, Benares. He was International President of the Theosophical Society from 1934 to 1945. NIRVANA: An Occult Experience, published by the Theosophical Publishing House, Adyar, records his first-hand account of Nirvanic consciousness.
