G. R. Malik

G. R. Malik (b. 1945) is a Professor of English at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, specializing in British English poetry and comparative literature. He undertook post-doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge, UK, under a Commonwealth fellowship. Among his publications are Iqbal and the English Romantics and his monograph Rasul Mir- Makers of Indian Literature, which examines the life and poetry of the 19th-century Kashmiri romantic poet Rasul Mir.
