Ramanath Jha is a distinguished Sanskrit scholar and Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), specializing in Vedic Studies, Indian culture, comparative philosophy, and various schools of Indian philosophy, including Vedanta, Samkhya, Yoga, and Navya-Nyaya. He has an extensive publication record, numerous research papers, and has served as an editor for textbooks by NCERT and for the international journal Vedic Venues. He is credited with editing `तन्त्रकौमुदी` (Tantrakaumudi) of Devanath Thakur.
