Kavishekhar Badrinath Jha (1893-1973) was a distinguished scholar, poet, and editor proficient in both Sanskrit and Maithili. A leading literary figure from the Mithila region of Bihar, he authored numerous original works and edited several important Sanskrit texts. As an editor, he prepared a critical edition of Venidatta's अलङ्कारमञ्जरी (Alankaramanjari), a work on Sanskrit poetics.
