Dr. Sujithra Ram Manohar

Dr. Sujithra Ram Manohar is an Ayurvedic physician, researcher, and academic, holding an MD (Ayurveda) and an MSc in Bioinformatics, and currently a PhD scholar. She serves as the Deputy Medical Superintendent at Amrita Ayurveda Hospital and a Senior Research Officer at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Dr. Manohar has received multiple awards for her academic excellence and research presentations and is a member of the Editorial Board for the Ayurvedic journal 'Ancient Science of Life'. Her scholarly work includes detailed textual concordances from classical Ayurvedic texts; for instance, in "Hemorrhoids (An Ayurvedic Textual Concordance from Astanga Hrdayam)", she compiles and translates references to the disease Arśas (hemorrhoids) from the Aṣṭāṅga Hṛdayam, covering terminology, diagnosis, and a wide spectrum of traditional treatments.
