Dr. (Mrs.) Saroj Narang

Dr. Saroj Narang studied Sanskrit at Zakir Husain College, University of Delhi, completing her doctorate in 1971 and beginning her academic career at Mata Sundari College, University of Delhi. Her book Figures of Speech in the Atharvaveda (Vidyanidhi Prakashan, 2000) investigates the poetic dimensions of the fourth Veda, analysing the range and function of rhetorical figures in its hymns and illuminating its literary character alongside its ritual and subject content.
