Dr. Kala Acharya

Dr. Kala Acharya has been honoured as Sanskrit Pandita by the Government of Maharashtra and is the founding Director of K. J. Somaiya Bharatiya Sanskriti Peetham, a Mumbai research institute in Indian culture, since 1989. Her glossary compiles commonly occurring Buddhist terms in Sanskrit with their Pali equivalents and English translations, serving as a reference tool for students and scholars of Buddhist studies.
