Dr. Jan Erik Sigdell, born in Sweden in 1938, holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and a doctorate in medical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. He specialized in dialysis technology and authored a mathematical textbook on artificial kidneys. From 1980 to 1997, he worked as a past-life regression therapist and consultant to the dialysis industry, and has written several books on reincarnation and the compatibility of Christianity with reincarnation. He has also demonstrated a scholarly engagement with Ayurveda, as evidenced by his article 'Translations into Western Languages of Ancient Works on Ayurveda'. He is the author of Course On The Fundamental Principles of the Ayurvedic Medicine, published by Chowkhamba Krishnadas Academy, a publishing house recognized for its works on Sanskrit, Indology, and Ayurveda. Dr. Sigdell is now retired and lives in Slovenia.
