Dr. Jagdish Trivedi

Dr. Jagdish Trivedi is an Indian humorist, author, poet, and performer known for the Gujarati Dairo tradition, with over 3,000 shows across thirty countries. He has received the Padma Shri and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, and has authored seventy-two books — six of which have received Gujarat Sahitya Akademi recognition. His Gujarati work The Humours Shahabuddin Rathodno documents the wit and legacy of the celebrated Gujarati humourist and Padma Shri recipient Shahabuddin Rathod.
