Dr. J.L.N. Sastry and Dr. Tanuja M. Nesari

Dr. J.L.N. Sastry comes from a traditional Ayurvedic family and has taught Dravyaguna Vijnana — the Ayurvedic study of plant and mineral substances, their properties, actions, and therapeutic uses — at multiple institutes over more than two decades, having previously published a five-volume English text on the subject. Dr. Tanuja M. Nesari is recognised for her academic excellence in the same field. Together they authored A Text Book of Dravyaguna Vijnana in two volumes, published by Chaukhambha Orientalia, Varanasi.
