Devanatha Thakkura

Mahamahopadhyaya Devanatha Thakkura (c. 15th-16th century) was a renowned scholar from the Mithila region specializing in Mimamsa, Tantra, and Dharmashastra. He composed several influential texts that became authorities in their respective fields. His works include the मन्त्रकौमुदी (Mantrakaumudi) on tantra and the अधिकरणकौमुदी (Adhikaranakaumudi), a treatise on Purva Mimamsa philosophy.
