Department of Cultural Publications

Department of Cultural Publications, Kerala, an arm of the Government of Kerala, publishes works documenting the state's artistic and cultural heritage. Its volume The Arts and Crafts of Travancore — a reprint of the landmark 1948 study by Stella Kramrisch, J.H. Cousins, and R. Vasudeva Poduval — surveys the architecture, sculpture, metal work, wood carving, and handicraft traditions of Kerala.
