Danielle Lim is a Singapore-based writer and alumna of the University of Oxford. Her memoir, originally titled The Sound of SCH: A Mental Breakdown, A Life Journey, won the Singapore Literature Prize 2016 in the non-fiction category and has been translated into Chinese and Tamil. The Tamil edition, ஷ்' இன் ஒலி (Sh in Oli), published by Kalachuvadu Publications, Chennai, traces her family's three-decade experience of living with her uncle's schizophrenia in a rapidly modernising Singapore. Her short story collection And Softly Go the Crossings won the Singapore Book Awards 2021 Book of the Year.
