Damodar Satavlekar

Damodar Satavlekar (Shripad Damodar Satwalekar, 1867–1968) was a polymath and Vedic scholar who founded the Swadhyay Mandal Vedic Research Institute and produced translations and editions of all four Vedas, including the यजुर्वेद-संहिता (Yajurveda Samhita), published by Nag Prakashan. He was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 1968 for his contributions to literature and education.
