Cheravalli Sasi

Dr. Cheravalli Sasi is a Malayalam poet, lyricist, biographer, essayist, and children's writer who worked as a professor of Malayalam literature at CMS College, Kottayam, for nearly three decades, retiring as Reader and Head of Department. He holds a PhD from Kerala University on the story poems of Vallathol. His book on Azhakathu Padmanabha Kurup, published by the University of Kerala, examines the life and work of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century Malayalam and Sanskrit scholar.
